Form certification is only responsible for the sample, and the standard logo is required for each factory review.
At present, there are two ways to apply for SAA certification in China. One is to pass the CB test report. If there is no CB test report, you can also apply directly.
SAA certification cycle
Under normal circumstances, the period for applying for SAA certification for common products such as IT, AV, lamps, and small household appliances is 3-4 weeks. If the product quality is not up to standard, the possible date will be extended.
The SAA certificate for product plugs(mainly for products with plugs) is required to be provided when submitting the report to the Australian State for review. Otherwise, SAA certificates for important components in the product are not provided. For lamps and lamps, SAA certificates for Transformers inside lamps are required. Otherwise, the Australian audit data will not pass.
SAA Certification Penalty Principle
Electrical products shipped to Australia must meet the standards of electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility. If they fail to meet the requirements, they will receive the following treatment: detention or confiscation of products; Or fine, the average individual fine is about US$ 10,000, and the company is about US$ 200,000.
