Explosion-proof certification

Explosion-proof certification is the routine testing used to determine that the equipment meets the requirements of the explosion-proof standard, the type test and the adaptation, and the issuance of relevant qualification certificates. The certificate can be for Ex equipment or Ex components.
Guide to Inspection
When applying for the explosion proof certificate and test report, the manufacturer of explosion-proof electrical products shall handle and provide the data and prototype according to the following procedures.
Delivery of information
1, enterprise certification
A copy of the business license of the enterprise for industry and commerce(at the time of initial inspection), the unit introduces the letter / power of attorney / application letter.
2, enterprise quality guarantee
According to the provisions of GB3836.1 -2010, enterprises should provide corresponding quality assurance when submitting to trial. When the enterprise passes ISO9001 series certification, provide a copy of ISO9001 series certification.
Technical information
The technical materials submitted for examination by the enterprise include enterprise standards or technical requirements, product drawings, instructions for use, etc.. All technical materials should be in duplicate.
A) Enterprise standards/technical requirements
The enterprise standards/technical requirements of the product shall be prepared in the prescribed format and shall include, in addition to the performance requirements of the product, It should also include the relevant aspects of explosion-proof: such as basic parameters, explosion-proof marks, operating environmental conditions, explosion-proof performance requirements, explosion-proof performance related tests, explosion-proof related marks, etc..
B) Product drawings
When the enterprise applies for the proof of explosion proof certificate for Ben-An-type electrical equipment, it should provide the assembly diagram, circuit diagram, printed circuit board diagram, silk printing diagram, component material table and nameplate diagram. When an enterprise applies for an explosion proof certificate for non-primary electrical equipment, the inspection technical data shall include drawings(including assembly drawings and spare parts drawings) that reflect the explosion-proof performance of the sample. When the general map can clearly indicate the explosion-proof parameters and structure of the product, it can only be sent to the general map.
C) instruction manual
The instructions for use shall include basic parameters, explosion-proof marks, product drawings, installation, maintenance, instructions for ordering, and precautions to ensure the explosion-proof performance of the product during installation and use.
D) Other information
For products with adhesive, pouring seal, the corresponding adhesive, type name of the sealing agent, performance description and related process documents should be provided. For products with plastic casings, the material of the plastic and the corresponding performance documents should be provided.
4, apply for proof of proof sample
The prototype of the inspection should be the same as the audit drawings and be fully assembled. The number of inspection stations should meet the requirements. If special disassembly tools are available, they should be delivered at the same time. For pouring type electrical equipment, one set of complete and unpoured products shall be delivered. The transparent parts of the observation window should be sent 5 additional pieces, at least 3 pieces. The transparent parts of the lamps should be delivered 8 additional pieces, at least 5 pieces. The rubber aging test shall provide 35 × 15 × 6 rubber blocks 3 to 5 blocks. The determination of insulation resistance of the plastic shell shall provide 2 pieces of plastic sheet with a diameter of 150 x 60. If the size allows, the plastic shell can be directly determined.
5, the application method:
5.1 Free application: The inspection unit applies for its own application, prepares relevant data on its own, assists in the commissioning of prototypes on its own, and modifies the non-standard parts of the data on its own. The cycle is relatively long and the comprehensive cost is high.
5.2 Agency application: The agency application refers to the entire process of agency application by a professional explosion-proof electrical and technical service organization. The intermediate data revision, prototype debugging, and progress coordination are handed over to the agency * according to the authorization. The progress is better guaranteed. The certificate can be obtained approximately 30 days after the signing of the entrustment agreement in the middle. The disadvantage is that it needs to pay some agency fees.
With regard to the statement of time of evidence:
Drawings and samples are complete, and they all meet the standards. There are no special complex tests, usually one month.
Statement of costs of evidence
According to the explosion-proof mark of the product, the complexity of the product, the size, the presence of complex test items, and the consideration of representative models. Generally about 10,000 yuan, plus 10 % for each model. If not listed in the standard of charge for large sets of products, series of products or centers, they shall be executed in accordance with the "Contract Evaluation Procedures" and determined through consultation.

If the content of the proof certificate is wrong, it should be changed in time. The change of the address of the unit and the change of the name of the original manufacturing unit should be changed with the change procedure and application letter.
Expiration
When the validity period of the enterprise's explosion-proof certificate is about to expire, the enterprise shall provide a letter of application for renewal of the certificate within three months before and after the validity period, and shall apply for renewal of the certificate again with the following information. In case of any accident, we should inform the center in time. The application letter includes the product name, model, original explosion proof grade, original explosion proof certificate number, and the description of whether the product has been changed. The enterprise shall also send the expired explosion proof certificate and the technical data submitted for inspection to the center for re-examination and provide samples for re-inspection.

Scope of application

The new implementation rules are divided into 17 product modules:
1, explosion-proof motor: center height ≤ 160mm, or rated power ≤ 15kW, explosion-proof motor: 160mm & lt; Center height ≤ 280 mm or 15 kW & lt; Rated power ≤ 100kW, explosion-proof motor: 280mm & lt; Center height ≤ 500MM or 100kW & lt; Rated power ≤ 500kW, explosion-proof motor: Central height & GT; 500Mm or rated power & GT; 500 kW.
