Singapore PSB Certification Introduction
The PSB certification is mandatory safety certification in Singapore, but the electromagnetic compatibility part is not required. The PSB safety Mark certificate is issued by the Singapore Product Standards Bureau. The Singapore Consumer Protection(Safety Specification) Registration Scheme requires that the list of electrical products be subject to compulsory application for PSB certification. Before the product enters Singapore, it must be the company with a tax base in Singapore as the holder of the PSB application. The product can only be sold in Singapore after obtaining the PSB certification certificate.

PSB authentication features
1, the certificate holder is a local company number in Singapore, no factory inspection and annual fee;
Validity of the certificate: three years;
3, if the product has Plug, SS246 test certification report needs to be submitted;
4, there is no "series" application for product certification(each certificate can only cover a single model).

PSB authentication process
Application by an enterprise: It is appropriate to submit the application three months before the formal audit. The enterprise needs to fill in the "PSB Certification Application Form" and "ISO/TS 16949:2002 Pre-evaluation List" and submit the required documents according to the latter, and submit the time for examination;

Third, sign a contract; The PSB may recommend that the company do a pre-examination one month before the formal audit(the cost is 20-30 % of the official audit), and the company is free to choose whether to do pre-examination;
Review of the application materials and documents submitted by the enterprise;
Field audits;
Take corrective / preventive measures in case of non-compliance in the on-site audit;
Issuing a Certificate: In general, an enterprise can obtain a certificate within 1-1 .5 months after completion of the rectification.
