What's a RoHS test?
RoHS is a mandatory standard established by EU legislation. Its full name is the "Directive of Hazardous Substances".
The standard was formally implemented on July 1, 2006. It is mainly used to standardize the material and process standards of electronic and electrical products so that it is more conducive to human health and environmental protection.

RoHS Test Product Range
The RoHS instruction covers electronic and electrical products listed in the catalog below AC1000V and DC1500:
1, large household appliances: refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, air-conditioning, etc.;
2, small household appliances: vacuum cleaner, iron, hairdryer, oven, clocks, etc.;
3, IT and communication equipment: computers, fax machines, telephones, mobile phones, etc.;
4, civilian devices: radio, television, video recorder, musical instruments, etc.;
Lighting equipment: fluorescent lamps other than household lighting, lighting control devices;
6, power tools: electric drills, lathes, welding, sprayers, etc.(except for large industrial tools to be installed);
7, toys/entertainment, sports equipment: electric vehicles, video game consoles;

RoHS Test Certification Data Preparation
1. Only heavy metal detection: solids need to provide about 5-10g, liquids need to provide 5-10mL;
2. Only bromine flame retardants are tested: solids need to provide about 10-20g, liquids need to provide 10-20mL;
3. Detection of heavy metal organic pollutants: provide samples of about 20-30g;
4. Conduct other organic pollutant testing: provide about 30g of samples;
5. Only the sample of the coating(coating) site is detected. The approximate weight of the material area of the coating(coating) should be indicated; If the weight of the coating(coating) does not meet the requirements of the sample delivery, the coating(coating) raw material shall be provided.
RoHS test factory inspection
No factory inspection is required, but RoHS generally requires a one-year validity period. In fact, the RoHS test report itself is only based on the analysis of the product. As long as your product material, production process, and process remain unchanged, the test report can be valid for a long time.
RoHS detection certification cycle
RoHS Scan + Chemical Test 20 groups of 5 working days, 20 groups of more than 7 working days, RoHS test 5 working days.
