What's a CB certificate?
The CB system is a set of electronic product global mutual recognition systems established by the IECEE(International Electrotechnical Commission Electrical Product Qualification Testing and Certification Organization, English name The IEC System for Control and Quality of Electronics). The system promotes international trade by obtaining national certification or approval for the mutual recognition of test results among member countries participating in the CB system. Most electronic and electrical products need to meet different regulations and industry requirements when they enter the market in various countries. In the past, it was a difficult and time-consuming process to obtain product safety registration or safety certification in various countries. But now with the CB system, this will never happen again. The CB system is a very convenient procedure. Participating countries can recognize each other's test results and usually do not require additional tests.

The global acceptance of product safety test results for electronic and electrical equipment is the basis of the CB system. After the successful completion of the test, a CB test certificate and corresponding CB test report will be issued for the product. Together, these two documents constitute a pass. The manufacturer can apply for national certification by any national certification body participating in the CB system countries or regions, and usually does not require additional tests. In addition, when applying for CB certification, it is necessary to inform the country to be considered for inclusion in the report so that the corresponding national differences can be taken into account when testing.

At present, the CB system covers video game devices, test equipment, power supply cables, capacitors and parts, lighting, household appliances, protective devices, Transformers, office and IT equipment, and medical devices. There are 14 categories of 180 products. CB Laboratory(CBTL) is a laboratory accepted by the CB system. The specific national certification body(NCB) authorizes the implementation of product testing and publishes test reports. Manufacturers can obtain CB reports and certificates from national certification bodies in any country and convert them to other safety certificates through national certification bodies under the country's CB system.
