Malaysian DOSH Certification
DOSH Certification Introduction
DOSH is an abbreviation of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health of Malaysia. All pressure-bearing equipment manufactured or imported for use in Malaysia is certified by an authorized third-party inspection agency as the "inspection agency" of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health(DOSH) for the design, manufacturing and inspection process.
Domestic manufacturers can design according to the relevant standards of developed countries such as the ASME specification or the BSI specification(it must be signed by an overseas authorized inspection agency), but it is currently understood that the design of adopting the national standard is difficult to pass DOSH approval. At present, the more common method is to convert the drawings calculated according to the national standard design into ASME standard documents.
