IBR Certification Profile
According to the "The Indian Boilers Act, 1923" and "Indian Boiler Products-1950" formulated by the Indian Central Boiler Bureau, all pressure equipment and its accessories entering the Indian market must be IBR certified.
There are many procedures for the review of boilers in India, and most domestic companies are not familiar with the IBR specification. The IBR specification has made many regulations on the design and manufacture of components. These will become difficulties encountered in the certification. Indian IBR certification has more specific mandatory individual certification requirements for waste heat boilers and pipeline parts. Valve instruments, including valves and various instruments and raw materials, including steel, forgings, castings, pipe parts, etc., shall be certified by the component manufacturers separately.
IBR authentication scope
1. Boiler pressure vessels
2. Pipeline
3. Valve
4. Raw materials(plates, rods, castings, forgings, etc..)
