Australian AS Certification Process
1. Conduct design review(drawing and calculation) in accordance with AS 1210 design specification and obtain pressure vessel audit number
2. Review manufacturing related procedures and technical requirements, manufacturing plant quality control plans, etc., and set up inspection points
3. Validation or inspection of incoming materials
4. Review welding process, process evaluation record and welder evaluation record
5. Review of non-destructive testing procedures and personnel qualification records
6. Random inspection during manufacturing, such as weld group inspection, weld back root inspection and size inspection
7. Witness a non-destructive inspection or review a non-destructive inspection report/record
8. Final inspection of appearance and dimensions, including internal and external inspection of equipment
9. Review of heat treatment reports(if applicable)
10. Witness the final pressure test
11. Review of inspection records and reports of manufacturers
12. Confirmation of nameplate contents and installation of nameplate, marking of nameplate and item identification number
13. Issue of AS Certification Certificate
