WERCSmart is a supply chain security management system designed and developed by The WERCS Corporation in the United States for large and medium-sized retailers. It can be achieved: unified and effective management of huge supplier networks and products; Conduct safety assessment of targets and existing products to facilitate screening. Specially developed retail procedures for retailers to obtain accurate compliance and sustainability data quickly and easily. The program provides suppliers with a secure and intuitive way to submit a complete set of data on the key products and chemical components required to communicate data to the retailer directly from the supplier's registered product information. Such an authoritative verification process is easier to facilitate cooperation between suppliers and retailers. Vendors with registered WERCSmart are undoubtedly the ideal targets for retailers.
The Wercs is a supplier of software for green supply chain systems and chemicals regulations. The software packages it provides play an important role in helping customers with product information management and hazard information delivery.

Product categories that need to register for WERCSmart
1. The product contains certain chemicals, is dangerous or potentially dangerous, or controls the chemical composition, and downstream retailers(customers) use the Wercsmart system;
2. No registration is required for general clothing and food, except for food in special container installations(e.g. aerosol dispensers or vacuum Guandeng);
3. Retailers require vendors to register.
Battery WERCSmart Registration
Battery WERCSmart registration is divided into two modes:
1. Registration of batteries not directly sold to retailers
This battery is only installed on other electronic products, and this electronic product is sold as a separate brand. This battery does not have the UPC/GTIN code and is registered by the battery provider to the WERCSmart system for use when linking battery information when other electronic product vendors register.
Key information requirements:
MSDS files(including model, capacity, weight, voltage, 100 % composition table, CAS numbers, forms, colors, odors, modes of transportation, and hazard protection measures, etc..)
2. Registration of batteries sold directly to retailers
This battery has the UPC/GTIN code and is registered on the WERCSmart system. The system will pass the relevant information to the lower retailer specified at the time of registration.

MSDS file, mode of transportation, UPC code, packaging method, weight(ounce), designated retailer name, retailer contact phone and mail, qualified supplier D number(O'Reily, Sears/K-Mart, Wal-Mart/SAM 'S CLUB needs)
WERCSmart registration for electronic products containing batteries
Registration of electronic products containing batteries takes two steps:
1. Battery vendors register battery information on the WERCSmart system and add the name of the battery supplier to the WERCS battery supplier list(if there are multiple different battery vendors to register independently)
2. The supplier of electronic products registers this electronic product. To select the battery information included in the step, the supplier of the battery will be found in the list and linked to the battery information.

WERCSmart registration for other products
1. Products sold under a retailer brand require WERCSmart to edit SDS documents
2. Liquid Products Provide Information In addition to the information contained in ordinary MSDS documents, Yushui's specific gravity, PH value, boiling point, flash point, personal protection measures(masks, gloves, aprons, protective mirrors), spontaneous combustion temperature, Minimum spontaneous combustion energy(mJ), water-to-oil ratio, viscosity coefficient)
3. Product nameplates are required for OTC and nutritional products(PDF format)
WERCSmart registration cycle and fees
Registration of general products takes three weeks and registration of battery-containing products takes four weeks
